The Cranston East Thunderbolts lacrosse team scored 9 points and limited the host Classical Purples to 3 in the Thunderbolts league triumph on Tuesday.
The Thunderbolts (1-0) will now prepare for their game against North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Northmen enter the Division 4 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, North Smithfield was overwhelmed by Smithfield (Esmond, RI), 5-4, in a league game.
The Purples (0-1) will now prepare for their game against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies enter the Division 4 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, East Providence was overwhelmed by Tiverton (Tiverton, RI), 10-1, in a league game.
