Monson Mustangs (Monson, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Smith Vo-Tech Vikings (Northampton, MA), 14-2 in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Granby for a Suburban test on Thursday, April 7. Monson will face a Rams squad coming off a 13-4 non-league loss to Central (Springfield, MA). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Vikings face the McCann Tech Hornets (North Adams, MA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 7. Smith Vo-Tech will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to St. Mary (Westfield, MA).
