The Islands Sharks smashed the host New Hampstead Phoenix soccer squad by a margin of 10-0 in Tuesday's league match.
The Sharks now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Savannah Arts Academy for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 6. Islands will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, New Hampstead drops to 0-12 on the season. The Phoenix travel to Benedictine (Savannah, GA) to encounter the Cadets in a AAAA Region 3 match on Friday, April 8. The Cadets come into the match with a record of 9-6. Benedictine won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA)
