The Ashbrook Greenwave routed the visiting Huss Huskies softball squad by a count of 21-6 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Greenwave (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions go into the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Shelby topped Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC), 17-3, in a league battle.

The Huskies now sport a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Kings Mountain for a Big South 3A battle on Friday, April 8. Huss will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-6.
