Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) and the visiting West Oso Bears (Corpus Christi, TX), witnessed Calhoun's softball squad prevail over West Oso by a count of 19-0.

The Sandcrabs now sport a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Jones for a 4A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, April 8. Calhoun will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, West Oso moves to 2-12 on the season. The Bears travel to Miller (Corpus Christi, TX) to face the Buccaneers in a 4A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, April 8. The Buccaneers go into the match with a record of 15-10. Miller lost 14-7 in their recent league match against Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX)
