The Canton Little Giants routed the visiting Morton Potters softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Little Giants (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Illini Bluffs topped Brimfield (Brimfield, IL), 10-3, in a league battle.

The Potters now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Pekin for a Mid-Illini battle on Thursday, April 7. Morton will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 6-2.
