The Hawthorne Cougars softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Centennial Apaches to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Hawthorne improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Inglewood (Inglewood, CA) to clash with the Sentinels in a Ocean game on Thursday, April 7. The Sentinels come into the game with a record of 2-4. Inglewood lost 20-2 in their recent league game against Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA)
In their next game, the Apaches clash with the Leuzinger Olympians (Lawndale, CA) in a Ocean game, on Thursday, April 14. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
