Pueblo Warriors (Tucson, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ), 6-1 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Sahuaro for a 4A Kino challenge on Friday, April 8. Pueblo will face a Cougars squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, Cholla falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ) to face the Lancers in a 4A Kino challenge on Friday, April 8. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 18-2. Salpointe Catholic won 14-3 in their recent league challenge against Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ)
