Illinois High School Softball - Jacobs can't get by Crystal Lake Central

In Tuesday's league contest, the Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL) softball team held off the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL), by a margin of 6-5.

With the triumph, Crystal Lake Central moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Tigers host Wauconda (Wauconda, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 6. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 4-3. Wauconda lost 8-7 in their recent non-league contest against Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN)

In their next game, the Golden Eagles play the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) in a Fox Valley contest, on Thursday, April 7. Jacobs will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 10-2 league loss to Huntley (Huntley, IL).
