Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA), 21-9 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Gate for a Eastern challenge on Thursday, April 7. Legacy will face a Rams squad coming off a 17-3 league win over Bell (Bell, CA). The Rams record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Garfield falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bell (Bell, CA) to face the Eagles in a Eastern challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Bell lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA)
