The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) and the host Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX), saw Lake Belton's softball squad nip Gateway College Preparatory by a count of 4-1.

The Broncos now sport a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they host Salado for a 4A Region III District 19 match on Friday, April 8. Lake Belton will face a Eagles squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Taylor (Taylor, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Gateway College Preparatory falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Gators host Burnet (Burnet, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 19 match on Friday, April 8. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 17-6. Burnet won 16-5 in their recent league match against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX)
