The Mandeville Skippers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Hammond Tornadoes to 0 in the Skippers league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Mandeville moves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Skippers travel to Hahnville (Boutte, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 6. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 17-7. Hahnville won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA)
In their next game, the Tornadoes clash with the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) in a 5A District 6 game, on Thursday, April 7. Hammond will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record.
