Scott Beavers (Scott City, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Holcomb Longhorns (Holcomb, KS), 5-2 in a league challenge.

The Beavers now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holcomb for a GWAC challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Scott will battle a Longhorns squad coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Hugoton (Hugoton, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Holcomb falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Scott (Scott City, KS) to battle the Beavers in a GWAC challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Beavers enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Scott won 23-0 in their recent league challenge against Ulysses (Ulysses, KS)
