Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fillmore for a Citrus Coast challenge on Thursday, April 7. Santa Paula will battle a Flashes squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Carpinteria (Carpinteria, CA). The Flashes record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Hueneme falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA) to battle the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 18. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 9-7.
