New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Marsing Huskies (Marsing, ID), 23-2 in a league challenge.

The Pilgrims now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cole Valley Christian for a 2A Western Idaho challenge on Tuesday, April 12.

With the loss, Marsing falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Melba (Melba, ID) to face the Mustangs in a 2A Western Idaho challenge on Friday, April 8. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 8-5. Melba won 19-3 in their recent league challenge against Vision (Caldwell, ID)
