California High School Softball - Sunnyside bounces McLane

Sunnyside Wildcats (Fresno, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA), 12-6 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a North Yosemite challenge on Friday, April 8. Sunnyside will battle a Rough Riders squad coming off a 17-4 non-league loss to Sierra (Tollhouse, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, McLane falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Fresno (Fresno, CA) to battle the Warriors in a North Yosemite challenge on Friday, April 8. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Fresno lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Reedley (Reedley, CA)
