The Athens Academy Spartans baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Tallulah Falls Indians to 6 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans (12-9) will now prepare for their match against Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA). The Storm go into the 2A Area 8 match with a 9-13 record.
The Indians (10-10) will now prepare for their match against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats go into the 1A D-I Area 8 match with a 3-13 record. In their last match, Rabun County was edged by Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA), 11-4, in a league match.
