In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Cheshire Rams baseball team scored a tight 9-2 victory over the Branford Hornets.
The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Southington (Southington, CT). The Blue Knights go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Southington was overwhelmed by Maloney (Meriden, CT), 4-1, in a non-league game.
