In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Crab Orchard Trojans baseball team scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats.
The Trojans (2-3) will now prepare for their game against New Athens (New Athens, IL). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record.
The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Gallatin County (Junction, IL). The Hawks go into the Greater Egyptian game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Gallatin County was edged by Pope County (Golconda, IL), 13-8, in a league game.
