Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Trinity holds off Connellsville

Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA) and the visiting Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA), saw Trinity's baseball squad knock off Connellsville by a count of 7-3.

Coming up next, the Hillers play the Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 4 battle, on Tuesday, April 11. Trinity will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 7-4 league loss to South Fayette (McDonald, PA).

The Falcons now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southmoreland for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 6. Connellsville will play a Scotties squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA). The Scotties record now stands at 0-6.
