In Wednesday's league game, the host North Sand Mountain Bison baseball team scored a tight 15-9 victory over the Fyffe Red Devils.
The Bison (16-6) will now prepare for their game against Ider (Ider, AL). The Hornets go into the 2A Area 15 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Ider was overwhelmed by Chattooga (Summerville, GA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
The Red Devils (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Pisgah (Pisgah, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Pisgah was overwhelmed by North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL), 18-0, in a league game.
