In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Guilford Grizzlies baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Law Lawmen.
The Grizzlies (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Morgan was edged by Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 7-1, in a league game.
The Lawmen (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Bunnell tipped Harding (Bridgeport, CT), 15-0, in a non-league game.
