In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Hoover Huskies baseball team scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Nitro Wildcats.
The Huskies (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Indians go into the Cardinal game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Sissonville by Buffalo (Buffalo, WV), 15-4, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 0-12 record. In their last game, Lincoln County by George Washington (Charleston, WV), 12-5, in a non-league game.
