In Wednesday's league game, the host Marion County Warriors baseball team scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Polk County Wildcats.
The Warriors (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Cumberland County (Crossville, TN). The Jets go into the non-league game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Cumberland County by Shelbyville Central (Shelbyville, TN), 14-11, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their game against William Blount (Maryville, TN). The Governors go into the non-league game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, William Blount tipped Northview Academy (Kodak, TN), 8-3, in a non-league game.
