Pennsylvania High School Baseball - West Shamokin sneaks past Penns Manor

Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) and the visiting Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA), saw West Shamokin's baseball squad edge Penns Manor by a count of 10-9.

Coming up next, the Wolves play the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) in a Heritage battle, on Tuesday, April 11. West Shamokin will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Stingers enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA).

The Comets now possess a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Purchase Line for a Heritage battle on Tuesday, April 11. Penns Manor will play a Red Dragons squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA). The Red Dragons record now stands at 0-5.
