The Roselle Catholic Lions baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Plainfield Cardinals to 5 in the Lions non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Linden (Linden, NJ). The Tigers go into the Union County - Mountain match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Linden was overwhelmed by Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ), 18-1, in a league match.
The Cardinals (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Union Catholic was overwhelmed by Summit (Summit, NJ), 3-1, in a league match.
