The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV), saw Sunrise Mountain's volleyball squad nip Desert Pines by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Sunrise Mountain upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Miners travel to Amplus Academy (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Archers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 12. The Archers go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Amplus Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Western (Las Vegas, NV)

The Jaguars now own a 2-5 record.
