In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Asheville Christian Academy Lions soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles.

The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Davidson Day (Davidson, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record.

The Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Blues go into the NCISAA Carolina battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Asheville School (Independent) was nudged by Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC), 4-0, in a league battle.
