North Carolina High School Baseball - Avery County can't hold off Mountain Heritage

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Mountain Heritage Cougars baseball team scored a tight 12-11 victory over the Avery County Vikings.
The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Mountaineers go into the non-league game with a 1-6 record.
The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their game against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
