The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) and the visiting Davis Blue Devils (Davis, CA), saw St. Francis's softball squad nip Davis by a count of 8-6.

The Troubadours now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cosumnes Oaks for a match on Wednesday, April 12. St. Francis will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Davis falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Folsom (Folsom, CA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, April 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-2. Folsom won 9-4 in their recent league match against Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA)
