Durant Cougars (Plant City, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting East Bay Indians (Gibsonton, FL), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverview for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Durant will face a Sharks squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, East Bay falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Bloomingdale (Valrico, FL) to face the Bulls in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Bulls enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Bloomingdale lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Newsome (Lithia, FL)
