North Carolina High School Softball - North Henderson gets by Hendersonville

The North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC) softball nipped the visiting Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC), 6-5 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Knights (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Falcons go into the Mountain Seven 3A bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, West Henderson held off East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC), 21-3, in a league bout.

The Bearcats now possess a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Henderson for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 6. Hendersonville will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 21-3 league loss to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.
