The Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ) softball routed the host Science Park Chargers (Newark, NJ), 28-14 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Blue Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, East Orange Campus was routed by St. Vincent Academy (Newark, NJ), 22-8, in a league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Arts for a Super Essex - Colonial bout on Tuesday, April 11. Science Park will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 23-6 non-league win over Orange (Orange, NJ). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-0.
