The Marquette Crusaders softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats to 0 in the Crusaders league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Marquette improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Beecher (Beecher, IL) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league game on Saturday, April 15. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 7-0.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 10. Lowpoint-Washburn will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
