Ohio High School Softball - Mayfield can't hold off South

The South Rebels softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Mayfield Wildcats to 8 in the Rebels league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, South improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Rebels travel to Geneva (Geneva, OH) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, April 8. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 2-3. Geneva won 14-9 in their recent non-league game against Conneaut (Conneaut, OH)
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) in a Western Reserve game, on Monday, April 10. Mayfield will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 4-0 record after their 19-1 non-league win over Geneva (Geneva, OH).
