The Needles Mustangs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Pahrump Valley Trojans to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Needles improves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Lincoln County (Panaca, NV) to clash with the Lynx in a 2A- Southern game on Friday, April 7. The Lynx come into the game with a record of 8-3. Lincoln County won 17-0 in their recent league game against Lake Mead Academy (Henderson, NV)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Boulder City Eagles (Boulder City, NV) in a 3A South - Desert game, on Wednesday, April 12. Pahrump Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 7-9 record after their 19-0 league win over Valley (Las Vegas, NV).
