North Carolina High School Softball - Southeast Guilford bounces Ragsdale

April 5, 2023: Jamestown, NC 27282

Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) and the host Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), witnessed Southeast Guilford's softball squad prevail over Ragsdale by a count of 23-12.

The Falcons now sport a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Guilford for a Metro 4A match on Tuesday, April 18. Southeast Guilford will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Cowboys record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Ragsdale moves to 5-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to face the Whirlies in a Metro 4A match on Tuesday, April 18. The Whirlies go into the match with a record of 4-9. Grimsley lost 11-2 in their recent non-league match against Bethany (Summerfield, NC)
