The Centennial Hawks baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Alamogordo Tigers to 3 in the Hawks league victory on Friday.
The Hawks (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans go into the 5A District 3 match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, Mayfield was overwhelmed by Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM), 14-4, in a league match.
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights go into the 5A District 3 match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Organ Mountain ran past Gadsden (Anthony, NM), 3-0, in a league match.
