The Buna Cougars crushed the host Anahuac Panthers baseball team by a count of 14-7 in Friday's league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host East Chambers for a 3A Region III District 22 bout on Tuesday, April 9. Buna will face a Buccaneers team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Orangefield (Orangefield, TX). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-12.
