Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA) and the visiting Eisenhower Cadets (Yakima, WA), saw Davis's baseball squad knock off Eisenhower by a count of 9-3.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Eastmont Wildcats (East Wenatchee, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle, on Tuesday, April 9. Davis will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA).

The Cadets now possess a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wenatchee for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle on Tuesday, April 9. Eisenhower will play a Panthers squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
