In Friday's league game, the visiting East Surry Cardinals baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the North Wilkes Vikings.
The Cardinals (8-5) will now prepare for their game against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Blackhawks go into the Foothills 2A game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, West Wilkes overcame Surry Central (Dobson, NC), 5-0, in a league game.
The Vikings (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, Starmount overcame Elkin (Elkin, NC), 9-5, in a league game.
