The Perkins-Tryon Demons the host Guthrie Bluejays baseball team by a count of 5-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Demons now possess a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tecumseh for a 4A District 8 bout on Monday, April 8.
Next, the Bluejays face the Weatherford Eagles (Weatherford, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 6. Guthrie will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 9-10 record after their 21-9 non-league loss to El Reno (El Reno, OK).
