The Moody Bearcats baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Hico Tigers to 1 in the Bearcats league victory on Friday.
The Bearcats (8-9) will now prepare for their match against Crawford (Crawford, TX). The Pirates go into the 2A Region II District 14 match with a 14-4 record. In their last match, Crawford gained a win over Bosqueville (Waco, TX), 5-2, in a league match.
The Tigers (14-5) will now prepare for their match against Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region II District 14 match with a 20-1 record. In their last match, Valley Mills was overwhelmed by West (West, TX), 5-1, in a league match.
