In Friday's league game, the visiting Iola Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Santa Fe Trail Chargers.
The Mustangs (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Anderson County (Garnett, KS). The Bulldogs go into the Pioneer game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Anderson County tipped Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS), 15-9, in a league game.
The Chargers (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS). The Trojans go into the Pioneer game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Osawatomie was edged by Baldwin (Baldwin, KS), 10-0, in a non-league game.
