In Friday's league game, the host Stevenson Patriots baseball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Lake Zurich Bears.
The Patriots (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Prairie Ridge was overwhelmed by Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL), 10-7, in a league game.
The Bears (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Zee-Bees go into the North Suburban game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Zion-Benton tipped Racine Horlick (Racine, WI), 12-0, in a non-league game.
