The Pelicans now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy for a 3A District 9 bout on Monday, April 8. Morris Jeff will face a Cougars team coming off a 18-1 league loss to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-10.

Next, the face the Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 5. Wright will attempt to move on its 0-13 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 17-7 record after their 13-6 league loss to Riverdale (Jefferson, LA).
