The Waynesboro Little Giants baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Staunton Storm to 1 in the Little Giants league victory on Friday.

The Little Giants (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets go into the Shenandoah match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Wilson Memorial tipped Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 1-0, in a league match.

The Storm (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison go into the Shenandoah match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Buffalo Gap was overwhelmed by Alleghany (Covington, VA), 21-1, in a non-league match.
