Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Wray Eagles (Wray, CO), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Weld Central upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Rebels travel to Brush (Brush, CO) to battle the Beetdiggers in a 3A Patriot test on Wednesday, April 10. The Beetdiggers come into the test with a record of 2-4.
With the defeat, Wray falls to 2-5 on the season. The Eagles host Wiggins (Wiggins, CO) to battle the Tigers in a 2A/1A Lower Platte test on Tuesday, April 9. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-6. Wiggins lost 14-6 in their recent non-league test against Platte Valley (Kersey, CO)
