The Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) baseball trounced the host Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), 8-1 in Friday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Matadors encounter the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 11. Sandia will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 9-0 league win over Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM).
The Scorpions now sport a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Mesa for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 13. Farmington will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 46-1 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-9.
