Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX), 15-4 in a league challenge.

The Bulls now sport a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Worth for a 4A Region I District 8 challenge on Monday, April 8. Bridgeport will face a Bullfrogs squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Krum (Krum, TX). The Bullfrogs record now stands at 9-15.

With the loss, Castleberry falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Springtown (Springtown, TX) to face the Porcupines in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Porcupines enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Springtown won 7-5 in their recent league challenge against Decatur (Decatur, TX)
